First National Championship 1990

After several years growing its fame, Corinthians became the brazilian national champions in 1990, againsta Sao Paulo ( the bambis) at their stadium, when the brazilian championship won made the Corinthians spread its history around Brazil. After that, Corinthians had a new status.
The team of the people (or the people themselves), began to feel a part of Brazil, a part of the world. A remark: I was there, and was able to testify it.

The 1990 was an special year, but after that, there were other titles in the Cup of Brazil, and national championships.
A giant had awaken, and the team began to be admired by soccer fans. It is evident that on the feelings of the other team fans spread out Brazil - the most hated/ admired team of the nation. Corinthians - love it, or hate it.
I was able to travel a lot around Brazil, and I can say it. The others hate Corinthians more than its biggest rivals. - this is a demonstration not only of respect, but also that people admire the histoty of the team of the people.
