The main change is regarding #9 Paolo Guerrero. He is a typical stryker, and a number 9. Corinthians had in the Libertadores the great Liedson in this function. Liedson was great for Corinthians, but towards his last year with us, he suffered with injuries and a constant knee problem.

Due to that, Corinthians played almost the entire Libertadores 2012 without a typical #9, and had fast players on the offence. It seems to have worked fine, and this is a good option for coach Tite to change the team strategy during the games.
